Step by Step Instructions
Let your truck sit with the hood popped, doors shut and the key fob away from the vehicle for at least 20 minutes. It is important to keep the key fob away and the doors shut during the entire installation process. DO NOT bring the key fob near the vehicle or open any doors until AFTER the module is fully installed and connections are verified. This allows the computer to 'sleep' and for your engine compartment to cool down. Failure to do so will result in a check engine light on startup.
Step 1: Locate the Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) sensor connector. It is located in the back of the engine bay towards the drivers side of the engine block. It is tucked away but easily recognized by the the yellow tab on the back of the connector. Slide the yellow tab up and press on the tab to unplug the connectors. If you are having trouble, use a pick to help slide up the tab. |
Step 2: Connect the wire harness provided into the connectors you just unplugged. Connect “B” from the wire harness provided to the purple connector on the truck's harness. Connect “A” from the wire harness provided to the FRP sensor. |
Step 3: Locate the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor connector. It is located on the drivers side on the intake manifold. Press down on the grey tab and unplug the connectors. |
Step 4: Connect “D” from the wire harness provided to the grey connector on the truck's harness. Connect “C” from the wire harness to the MAP sensor. |
Step 5: Plug the grey connector into the Stealth Module. Make sure this is pushed in all the way! Verify all connections are tight and straight. |
