There is no downloading, splicing wires, or modifications to get in your way. The module is placed under the hood of the vehicle with no additional modifications or monitoring necessary. It depends on what you’re after! A flash tuner is geared towards top end power, whereas the Stealth Module works at your low to mid range RPMs. This is where 99% of your driving occurs. The Module is a non-invasive device that requires no flashing of your ECM or other modification. It is a safe way to get better performance out of your Cummins, Powerstroke, Duramax, Nissan Titan or Land Rover without sacrificing your warranty.

The Stealth Module does not flash or reprogram your vehicle’s computer. We are able to give you the extra performance you want out of your truck while working within the factory safety parameters. In fact, the Module was designed to work on a completely stock truck.

Yes! It works great on deleted trucks too. Just because these burn clean enough to work with your emissions intact does not mean you can't continue to run it after the emissions are removed. If you're looking to pair it with power tunes please reference the next question.

Since these modules are selectable, you have the option of switching between the safe and efficient power of our module or turning ours down to crank up your other power tunes for all out high end power.

These control the fuel delivery by intercepting signals after the truck's computer. Some applications bring the rail pressure up to where it should be much sooner while others use pulse width manipulation. By delivering the fuel more efficiently in the RPM range that you drive in everyday, it enables you to keep your RPMs down, hold gears better, and use less throttle to get down the road.

On average we see anywhere from 30-90 hp to the wheels and up to 120ft lbs of torque on a dyno. The thing is, these modules aren't made for dyno figures or racing. These are to provide functional low to midrange power in the RPM range you use for daily driving and/or towing situations. Keep in mind that a Dyno measures power at wide open throttle. It can't measure daily driving improvements like rolling into the throttle and holding gears better. These are designed for the 99% of driving situations where your foot is not to the floor.

It really depends on the specific truck, conditions, and driving style. Try each setting for a week to see what works best for you. Medium is a great all around setting that most people prefer.

It will not cause harm to the truck if settings are changed on the fly but it is recommended that the settings are changed while the truck is off. Ideally, it should be left in one setting for as long as possible in order for it to adapt.

Yes, tow/haul mode directly controls your transmission and how it shifts for optimal towing performance and longevity of the transmission.

Yes. The Stealth Module brings the power in much earlier and smoother. This helps transform the power curve into more of a 4 stroke power curve compared to a 2 stroke where there is a lot of lag followed by a sudden surge in power. This will help the transmission hold gears much better and not have to jump around searching for power.

Yes. These work great if you are empty. It can sometimes be even more noticeable, especially when it comes to mileage because there is no weight behind you to absorb the added power.

These are going to be two completely different devices with different purposes. Throttle manipulators are strictly to adjust how aggressive your physical throttle input is seen to the engine. Example: When you physically put in 25% throttle manually with your foot, the engine will see above that which gives a vehicle more of a sporty feel. However, there is zero change in engine output.

Our module is designed to give you more low-mid RPM range power where you need it for pulling and driving situations. We do not manipulate throttle aggressiveness. Both devices can be run together if you would like more power along with a more sporty feeling in the vehicle.

There can be a slight delay between settings. The big thing is letting the transmission adapt. It's best to leave it alone as much as possible.

There is no reason to wait a certain amount of miles. These trucks are run adaptive so it's best to have the transmission learn it's shifting habits with the Stealth Module.

The Stealth Performance Modules are not CARB exempt at this time and are not legal for sale in California or use on vehicles registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

No. These are very safe and do not use aggressive timing. Since these do not override your stock safety parameters, your truck's original programming monitors and protects your truck like it was designed to from the factory. You can run it on a completely stock truck with no issues.

The type of performance gains achieved with the module are absolutely noticeable, but relatively mild.  We are not piling on peak horsepower. The gains are on the low end and typically tend to flatten the power curve.  Making the added power very smooth and predictable.  It is a safe and noninvasive approach to achieving better performance.

The majority of the Stealth Modules are installed in 20 minutes on average with little to no tools. In a majority of applications, the module plugs inline with the fuel pressure sensor with some plugging inline to the boost sensor as well. Specific installation procedures vary depending on application but can typically be installed yourself with minimal mechanical knowledge. We have all of our installation instructions located here. The module does work with a tuner for the majority of applications. The module helps bring the power in earlier and smoother if running power tunes.

The only module that will not work on top of a power tune is the 13-18 Cummins 6.7L Module. This particular unit has a different approach than the others.

The switch works going clockwise: Stock, Low, medium, and High.

Starting all the way to the left or counterclockwise: Stock (module is not doing anything/pass through), 1 click: to the right or clockwise: Low, 2 clicks: Medium, and 3 clicks: High.

The numbers do not mean anything on the current dial, it goes by number of clicks as it is turned.

Yes the product will work on the majority of applications that are already tuned and deleted. The module does not handle or enable deletes. This is because a tuner is needed to go in and flash the truck’s computer to handle the modification(s).

There are many factors that play a role in fuel economy, it's impossible to guarantee fuel economy gains. However, you are welcome to contact us anytime to discuss options.

If the product is not performing there may be something wrong with the unit in which case we would troubleshoot and determine whether an exchange is necessary. If an exchange is not necessary you are able to return the product, once approved, within 30 days of purchase.

If you don't notice a power difference, the unit is likely not working properly. The main indicator we use to determine if the module is working correctly is feeling the power difference. We would troubleshoot and determine how to move forward. If an exchange is not necessary you are able to return the product, once approved, within 30 days of purchase.
